Android was first developed by in September 2008 with 
the first version [1.0].
Android is an open source operating system. That is, if you own a phone brand, 

you can just get the requisites and you can download android and customize it just the way you love it.
For this reason, you’ll notice different android experience while using different android operated smart-phone.
Like while using smart-phone you’ll get a different look,performance,compatibility from any other smartphone brand.
except that exploding samsung galaxy note 7 (that is a different thing all together).

Android so far has few significant competitors such as Apple ios, Windows and
but so far they have manged to dominate the software market.
Android OS has gone more than just smart-phone, it is now seen in Laptops, Television, even in Cars.
