How To Back-Up Your Contacts And Retrieve Your Lost Contact

It’s more like your life has reset when you loose your contacts, you have no option other than starting afresh. But to avoid loosing your contacts and go about re-collecting the numbers to fill up your contact list. 
I will take you through two methods  on how you can back-up your contacts on Google and retrieve them any time.
i use this methods and it works just fine. And so many times it has saved my friend.

Requirements
-A working account signed in on your phone

-Internet connection

To back-up your Contacts
Method 1
-Goto your contact or address book.
-Select the menu option
-Choose import/Export
-Select your contact storage location ( it could be your memory or sim cards. choose anyone for now then you can repeat the steps again to choose a different contact storage location)
-Goto next
Select Your gmail address and hit next
-Select all contact or choose the contacts
-Finally, tap OK.

That’s it you wait for it to copy and upload..

Method 2
-Goto your phone setting
-Choose Accounts
-Choose your account
-Choose your Google account, if multiple account exist
-Turn on Contact Sync, if it is turned off.
-Tap on Sync to start saving your contacts.

The above methods will backup your contact so this what can save you from loosing those contacts.

To retrieve your contacts
let’s say you got a new phone and you need to get your contact on them. If you have your contacts in your sim, fine. but if you lost your sim, sorry. If you had done the above stated method, you can retrieve your contacts on your new phone. Simply sign in your google account on the new phone. Automatically, you contacts should sync, if you go online.

But if it doesn’t work that way, you use the methods below to get back your contacts.

Method 1
-Turn your data
Goto your phone setting
-Choose Accounts
-Choose your Google account
-Choose your Google account, if multiple account exist
-Turn on Contact Sync, if it is turned off.
-Tap on Sync to start getting your contacts back.

Method 2
-Goto your contact or address book.
-Select the menu option
-Choose import/Export
-Select your Google account.
-Goto next
Select Your phone location or sim card
-Select all contact or choose the contacts needed
-Finally, tap OK.
