About the founders of SPRIMO,
In 2015 SPRIMO was developed by Ray Combs and Harold Han, PhD who felt there should be a smarter and more efficient way to breathe clean air in personal spaces. They have a story of how bad air quality affected lives of people and had to bring a way air quality can be detected.
SPRIMO: the air detecting device can be plugged into your Iphone and immediately pops up the application on your device and starts running the atmosphere test. The whole quality testing is on auto, so you do not need to power on SPRIMO each time. For the test reading, SPRIMO will show green for a good air, yellow for OK and red for not good or okay. The air testing device will also be rolled out for Android too.
Currently, SPRIMO is on a kick-starter, where a pledge of US$20 will get you one – assuming it reaches production, that is. The planned retail price is $40.
A bonus SPRIMO community allows users to also see a heat map of areas having a type of air quality.
